Success

A Global Community of 12,000+ Fundraisers (and Counting!)

At the Modern Institute for Charitable Giving (ModernICG), we know that major gift fundraising isn’t easy—but it’s one of the most powerful ways to fuel your mission. That’s why we’ve spent the last 34 years helping over 12,000 passionate fundraisers and nonprofit leaders around the world sharpen their skills, spark new ideas, and gain the confidence to secure truly transformational gifts.

  • The Modern Institute for Charitable Giving has deep roots and a bold vision for the future.

It all began back in 1991 when two fundraising trailblazers—Jerry Panas and Bill Sturtevant—founded the original Institute for Charitable Giving (ICG). Their mission was simple yet powerful: to elevate the practice of fundraising by sharing the very best of what works through immersive, peer-based learning.

And it worked. For over 30 years, ICG became a trusted resource for thousands of fundraisers—from grassroots nonprofits like Inner City Youth Alive and Mosaic Community Health, to powerhouse organizations like the American Heart Association and The Salvation Army.

When Jerry passed away in 2018, his wife and longtime partner in this work, Felicity Panas, lovingly continued the mission. And in 2025, a new chapter began when Fundraising Transformed—an international training and consulting firm founded by Tammy Zonker—acquired the Institute. It was renamed the Modern Institute for Charitable Giving (ModernICG) to honor Jerry, Bill, and Felicity’s remarkable legacy.

But this wasn’t just a name change—it was a renewal of purpose.

Today, ModernICG is all about equipping forward-thinking fundraisers like you with the tools, strategies, and mindset needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Our seminars are completely virtual and carefully crafted to combine cutting-edge insights with time-tested wisdom.

We believe that fundraising isn’t just about asking for money—it’s about inspiring generosity, building relationships, and making transformational impact. When you join our community, you’re not only learning from some of the brightest minds in the field—you’re also connecting with a global network of peers, experts, and advisors who are passionate about doing good, better.

Plus, all of our programs are CFRE-accredited, so you’re growing your skills and advancing your career at the same time.

Ready to reimagine what’s possible in major gifts? We’d love to have you join us.

ModernICG is a service of Fundraising Transformed, founded by Tammy Zonker in 2008 to inspire and strengthen fundraisers and nonprofit leaders around the world.

ParkBenching

There’s a lovely old idea from Mark Twain that says the best kind of learning happens when you’ve got a great teacher on one end of a log and a curious student on the other. Simple, powerful, and deeply personal.

At ModernICG, we’ve taken that beautiful concept and given it a modern twist—we call it ParkBenching. These are your moments to sit down (virtually, of course) for one-on-one conversations with our expert faculty. It’s relaxed, it’s personal, and it’s all about you—your questions, your goals, your growth. Just you and a trusted guide, talking shop, dreaming big, and digging into whatever’s on your mind. It’s the kind of learning that sticks—and we can’t wait to share it with you.

  • One-on-One Time with Our Expert Faculty

At our seminar, you won’t just learn from the experts—you’ll have the chance to connect with them personally.

    What to Expect

Throughout the seminar, we offer dedicated time during breaks and lunch for casual, one-on-one conversations with our faculty. These aren’t formal interviews or stuffy office hours—they’re relaxed, 20-minute chats where you set the tone and choose the topic.

Bring your questions, your challenges, or just your curiosity.

    Your Time, Your Agenda

These personal sessions are the perfect chance to:

    • Get honest career advice

    • Talk through workplace challenges

    • Ask about job opportunities or next steps

    • Dive into industry trends or what's on the horizon

    • Simply connect with someone who’s been where you are

It’s like having a mentor for the day—someone who’s walked the walk and genuinely wants to see you succeed.

Whether you’re navigating a tricky team dynamic, thinking about a big career move, or just want to pick the brain of someone who’s “been there,” these sessions are all about you.

So grab a cup of coffee, bring your questions, and settle in for a conversation that could spark your next big move. We can’t wait to chat with you!

Illustration of a person using a tablet with network connections, speech bubbles, and gears, symbolizing communication and collaboration.

Stewardship
Panels

Our Stewardship Panels are one of the most meaningful parts of the seminar experience—and a favorite among participants. These interactive sessions create a welcoming space for honest, thought-provoking conversations about what it really takes to build and sustain strong relationships with major donors.

You’ll join our expert faculty and fellow fundraisers to share stories, swap ideas, and dive into the real-world challenges of donor stewardship. It’s not just about theory—it’s about learning from each other, exploring what works (and what doesn’t), and walking away with new strategies you can put into action. Think of it as a collaborative space to grow, reflect, and reimagine what stewardship can look like in today’s world.

  • Our Stewardship Panels are more than just thoughtful discussions—they’re energizing, real-world conversations designed to help you grow as a major gifts fundraiser and leader.

These sessions bring together seasoned experts and passionate peers to explore:

    • Ethical stewardship that builds trust

    • Creative, modern ways to engage major donors

    • Smart strategies for building long-term loyalty

You’ll walk away with practical ideas, powerful insights, and fresh perspectives you can put to use right away.

This is your chance to listen, share, and learn alongside others who truly get what it means to build meaningful major donor relationships. Whether you're looking to fine-tune your approach or rethink your strategy entirely, the Stewardship Panels are designed to inspire—and help you create deeper, lasting impact for your mission.

Networking Opportunities

We know that the learning doesn’t end when the seminar wraps up—in many ways, that’s just the beginning. That’s why we’ve built in plenty of opportunities for you to connect, collaborate, and keep the conversation going—both during the seminar and long after it’s over. These moments are where great conversations—and great friendships—often begin.

  • At ModernICG, we believe learning is better when it’s shared—so we’ve built intentional time for connection right into each day of the seminar. From casual breakout chats to our relaxed virtual cocktail hours, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to swap stories, share ideas, and build relationships with other fundraising professionals who really get the work you do.

Day 1:

Oct. 13

After completing our three-day Major Gifts Fundraising Seminar, you’ll earn 15 CFRE points — an exciting step forward in your professional journey! Hop on a little early to catch up with familiar faces and meet a few new ones! It’s a great way to ease in and start the day with some good conversation. All times are Eastern Timezone.

  • Hop into the chat to say hi to familiar faces and meet a few new ones! It’s the perfect way to ease in and kick off the day with some great conversation.

  • Welcome + Orientation + Introduce Faculty

  • Faculty: Douglas Dillon

Moves Management Part I (60 Mins) + Moves Management Part II (55 Mins

Moves Management is a system for building deep, life-long affinity and commitment with probable donors. These relationships reliably lead to major gifts. This is true no matter how your organization defines a major gift. In this two-part session, you will learn the process for identifying your prospects for Moves Management, understand who you involve in the process, learn about successful cultivation plans— setting cultivation objectives, a checklist for incorporating Moves Management into your process, and measuring your progress.

  • Break (30 Mins) & Optional Park Benching (20 Mins)

  • Faculty: Cherian Koshy

Major and planned gifts have always been about trust, timing, and tailored conversations. Now, AI gives us the tools to make those conversations smarter, faster, and more personalized—without losing the human connection that matters most. In this advanced session, we’ll explore how AI can help major gift officers and legacy gift planners uncover hidden prospects, craft custom stewardship journeys, and make data-driven decisions that move high-value donors from interest to investment. We’ll dive into the power (and limits) of predictive modeling, next-best-action tools, and generative AI to support your moves management, not replace your relationships.

  • Faculty: Tammy Zonker

Jerold Panas said, ‘If you get the visit, you’re 85% on your way to getting the gift.’ This session explores ways to secure the visit and making the ask with even your most elusive supporters. You will learn how to distinguish the barriers to securing the visit and how to navigate them. We will explore your fears about asking for money. You will be introduced to an asking framework informed by empathy and authenticity.

  • Break & Optional Park Benching (20 Mins)

  • Faculty: Tammy Zonker

Taking a deeper dive into making the ask, this session applies the asking framework through role-play demonstration and exercises. You will deepen your understanding of our asking framework, strengthen your asking skills through scenario-based role-playing, and consider the donor’s experience by being solicited through role-play.

  • Share your biggest breakthroughs and aha moments in the chat-we’d love to hear them! And just a friendly reminder: don’t forget to sign up for a one-on-one ParkBenching session with a faculty member, as well as a RoundTable topic for Day 2.

  • Optional Park Benching (20 Mins.)

Day 2

Oct. 14

Join us a bit ahead of time to reconnect with old friends and introduce yourself to some new colleagues! It’s the perfect opportunity to ease into the day and enjoy some friendly conversation. Please note that all times are listed in Eastern Time.

  • Optional Park Benching (20 Mins.)

  • Hop into the chat to say hi to familiar faces and meet a few new ones! It’s the perfect way to ease in and kick off the day with some great conversation.

  • Welcome + Orientation + Introduce Faculty

  • Faculty: Jeff Spitko

The path to closing a major gift can often be a long one, and it starts with building a base of dedicated advocates for your mission. New donor acquisition takes time, patience, and requires finding prospects through numerous direct marketing channels. In this session, you’ll learn how to create donor journeys that inspire those currently unfamiliar with your mission, convert your social media followers to email subscribers, upgrade your email subscribers into mass market donors, and implement innovative cultivation methods for building a successful donor pipeline through digital prospecting.

  • Faculty: Maia McGill

This session explores how identifying and leveraging the strengths, resources, and opportunities within your organization and community supports sustainable impact. We will also discuss how transformation mapping connects these assets to larger goals, helping fundraisers and advancement professionals drive systemic change rather than just meeting short-term needs. By using multi-dimensional data and a community-centered approach, institutions can position fundraising as a catalyst for creating an inclusive fundraising plan that diversifies your donor base and sustains your mission.

  • Break (30 Mins) & Optional Park Benching (20 Mins.)

  • Faculty: Russell Dunlavy

A crucial element for the sustained success of any organization, especially those in the nonprofit sector, is the ability to recruit, develop, and retain gift officers. These professionals are pivotal in securing donations that significantly impact the organization’s ability to fulfill its mission. By investing in these key areas, you can create a robust and dynamic team capable of driving long-term financial sustainability and advancing organizational goals.

  • At ModernICG, we know that philanthropy is personal, and no two fundraisers face exactly the same challenges. That’s why we’ve made RoundTable Discussions a key part of our seminar experience.

These small-group conversations happen throughout each day and are all about you—your questions, your goals, your real-world situations. It’s your time to connect, share, and get support on what matters most in your fundraising journey.

  • Break (30 Mins.) & Optional Park Benching (20 Mins.)

  • Faculty: Doug Dillon

While the staff is responsible for the work of philanthropy, we know that the involvement of board members and volunteers will win the day. The magical partnership in solicitation involves board members and volunteers working with fundraisers and donors to maximize what’s possible. You will learn how to engage and motivate your board and volunteers to help you reach your greatest level of success.

  • Share your biggest breakthroughs and aha moments in the chat-we’d love to hear them! And just a friendly reminder: don’t forget to sign up for a one-on-one ParkBenching session with a faculty member, as well as a RoundTable topic for Day 3.

  • Optional Park Benching (20 Mins.)

Day 3

  • Optional Park Benching (20 Mins.)

  • Hop into the chat to say hi to familiar faces and meet a few new ones! It’s the perfect way to ease in and kick off the day with some great conversation.

  • Welcome + Orientation + Introduce Faculty

  • Faculty: Dr. Russell James

The idea of legacy gift fundraising makes sense. But it feels a little uncomfortable, right? So, how do we actually DO this? What, specifically, do we say? In this session, Professor James reviews, step-by-step, the most effective ways to ask for an estate gift for your nonprofit. Connecting experimental research and academic theory with dozens of simple, practical examples, this presentation gives you both the “Why” and the “How” of the words and phrases you will want to use.

  • Faculty: Ashley Nall

This session explores strategies for identifying, engaging, and retaining grateful families, individuals, and supporters who give and give again to your mission. This will include a dive into building our pipeline and targeted portfolio performance. You will acquire skills in developing comprehensive fundraising strategies tailored to your mission, goals, and target audience. You will also understand the importance of targeted portfolio work, including tracking metrics, measuring outcomes, and adjusting strategies based on the audience.

  • Break (30 Mins) & Optional Park Benching (20 Mins.)

  • Faculty: Tammy Zonker, Moderator with Cherian Koshy, Birgit Burton, Ashley Nall, Maia McGill, Russell Dunlavy, and Jeff Spitko

With the consistent decline in household giving and donor retention in the U.S. and Canada, stewardship has never been more crucial. This panel of experts will share their successful approaches to stewardship that keep donors giving. Time will be allotted for participant sharing and Q&A.

  • Faculty: Birgit Burton

You will gain the knowledge and tools necessary to deepen relationships with current and prospective foundation and corporate partners. You will also gain strategies to navigate the complex landscape of foundation grant seeking and enhance your organization's funding prospects.

Aligning your organization's mission with potential funders' priorities is the essential first step. We will then delve into the intricacies of crafting compelling grant proposals, emphasizing clarity, impact, and sustainability. You’ll hear real-world examples and practical tips from years of experience in the field.

  • Break (30 Mins.) & Optional Park Benching (20 Mins.)

  • Faculty: Tammy Zonker

Are we truly making the impact we dream of, or have we settled into a comfort zone of safety and compliance? Have we lost sight of our greater purpose? Are we merely checking boxes, or are we truly transforming lives and communities? Join us on a journey of thinking bigger, bolder, and braver. Reconnect with why you do this work and gain insights by asking courageous questions about your organization. Identify what big, bold, audacious goal you might aim for if you knew you could not fail. Frequently
asked questions

  • The Modern Institute for Charitable Giving (ModernICG) has deep roots in the fundraising world. It all started back in 1991 when two legends in the field—Jerry Panas and Bill Sturtevant—founded the Institute for Charitable Giving (ICG). Their mission? To help fundraisers grow, thrive, and elevate the impact of philanthropy through world-class training and peer learning.

Over the past three decades, more than 12,000 fundraising professionals from over 9,000 organizations—big and small—have experienced the power of ICG’s learning model. From grassroots nonprofits like Inner City Youth Alive and Mosaic Community Health to global forces like the American Heart Association and The Salvation Army, the institute has served as a trusted guide in fundraising excellence.

When Jerry passed in 2018, his wife and longtime partner in this work, Felicity Panas, lovingly carried the mission forward. Then in 2025, a new chapter began. Fundraising Transformed—a global fundraising training and consulting firm founded by Tammy Zonker—acquired the institute and relaunched it as the Modern Institute for Charitable Giving (ModernICG). Tammy, who had already served as Dean, brought with her a vision to build on the institute’s extraordinary legacy while reimagining what's possible for the future of fundraising.

At ModernICG, we’re passionate about helping fundraisers like you think boldly, work smarter, and aim higher—especially when it comes to major gifts. Our immersive seminars blend cutting-edge strategy, interactive learning, and real-world insight, all while connecting you with a diverse network of peers, experts, and thought leaders in the field.

And yes—our programs are CFRE-accredited, so you’ll earn credits while you grow your skills and your impact.

If you're ready to ignite your imagination and take your fundraising to new heights, we’d love to welcome you into the ModernICG community.

Let me know if you’d like a shorter version or a version tailored to a specific audience!

  • Great question! The name “ModernICG” reflects exactly what we’re all about—bringing a fresh, forward-thinking approach to fundraising education while honoring the legacy of the original Institute for Charitable Giving.

When we shifted from traditional in-person seminars to fully virtual experiences, it wasn’t just about convenience. It was about creating greater access, eliminating travel barriers, and meeting fundraisers where they are—no matter where they live or work.

But “modern” goes far beyond format.

Today’s donor landscape is evolving fast, and so are we. Our enhanced curriculum is packed with cutting-edge strategies and time-tested best practices designed specifically for major gifts fundraising. We dive deep into things like:

    • Modern Moves Management

    • Crafting compelling case statements and gift invitations

    • Engaging younger donors and diversifying funding sources

    • Responsible use of predictive and generative AI

    • Ethical fundraising and donor stewardship

    • And so much more

We’ve also expanded our faculty to include top thought leaders, industry experts, and wealth advisors who bring real-world insights into every session. Our seminars are interactive, immersive, and CFRE-accredited—blending practical tools with big-picture thinking.

Plus, with sessions like “The Art of the Ask” and “Modern Planned Giving,” you’ll walk away with strategies you can immediately put to use.

So when we say “modern,” we mean education that’s relevant, dynamic, and built for the challenges (and opportunities!) of fundraising today—and tomorrow.

  • We totally get it—on the surface, a virtual seminar might not seem like it should come with a premium price tag. But the ModernICG Major Gifts Seminar isn’t your typical online event. It’s a deep, hands-on learning experience designed to deliver a real return on your investment.

You’re not just signing up for a few Zoom sessions—you’re gaining access to expert-led training, personalized coaching, and actionable strategies you can start using right away. Just one strong donor relationship cultivated using what you learn here could easily pay for the cost of registration—and then some.

Think of it as investing in your own growth and your organization’s future impact. We’re here to help you fundraise smarter, not harder.

  • We hear you—your schedule is packed, and time is always in short supply. That’s exactly why we’ve designed the ModernICG Major Gifts Seminar to be just three focused, high-impact days.

Unlike programs that stretch on for weeks or require travel and time away from your work, this virtual seminar is streamlined to give you maximum value without overwhelming your calendar. It’s all about practical, actionable learning you can immediately apply—delivered right to you, wherever you are.

You’ll walk away with tools, strategies, and insights that save time in the long run—and help you raise more with less stress.

  • Totally fair question—and honestly, we’ve sat through our share of dry, one-way webinars too. That’s exactly why we created something different.

The ModernICG Major Gifts Seminar is designed to be interactive, engaging, and actually fun. You’ll join live sessions filled with real conversations, small-group breakouts, and personalized coaching—not just passive screen time. You’ll have chances to ask questions, get feedback, and connect with peers who really get what you’re navigating.

It’s virtual, yes—but it feels real, human, and energizing. Promise.

  • In a word? Relevance.

The ModernICG Major Gifts Seminar is built for today’s donor landscape—not the one from ten or even five years ago. We blend classic, proven principles with fresh, forward-thinking strategies that reflect how philanthropy is evolving right now.

Whether you’re growing an established major gifts program or just starting to build your pipeline, you’ll walk away with insights that stretch your thinking and sharpen your approach. It’s practical, it’s timely, and it’s designed to help you thrive in a fast-changing world.

  • Great question—and one we’ve heard a lot over the years.

The truth is, while we loved gathering in person, many participants shared how tough it could be to attend—between travel costs, hotel stays, and time away from family or the office, it just wasn’t always feasible.

    So, we listened.

By going fully virtual, we’ve made it easier for more fundraisers and nonprofit leaders to join us—no flights, no packing, no logistics to juggle. Just high-quality, interactive training you can access from wherever you are.

We’re excited to keep making professional development more accessible, so mission-driven folks like you can keep growing your skills and making a bigger impact—without missing a beat at home or at work.

  • Yes, you sure can! After completing our three-day Major Gifts Fundraising Seminar, you’ll earn 15 CFRE points! And we love that you’re investing in your professional growth!

All sessions in the ModernICG Major Gifts Seminar are eligible for CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) credits. CFRE International uses an honor-based reporting system, which means:

    • You’re in charge of tracking your own participation

    • No formal certificate from us is needed

    • Just keep a record of the sessions you attend and report them directly to CFRE International

It’s simple, and we’re here if you have any questions along the way.

Earning these credits not only helps maintain your certification—it also shows your commitment to staying sharp and making a lasting impact in the fundraising world. For more on how to report your credits, check out the “Reporting Continuing Education” section on the CFRE website.

And of course, if anything’s unclear, we’re just an email away!

  • Absolutely—and we highly encourage it!

One of the best parts of the ModernICG Major Gifts Seminar is the chance to connect with fellow fundraisers who really get what you do. Even though we’re virtual, we’ve built in plenty of ways to meet, share, and grow your network.

    During the Seminar:

    • Hop on early for our pre-seminar networking time. It’s a great way to say hello, meet other participants, and start building connections before we dive in.

    • Join the live chat during breaks and our virtual evening reception. Swap stories, ask questions, and share insights with fundraisers from all over the world.

    After the Seminar:

Your connections don’t stop when the seminar ends. Once you complete the program, you’ll be invited to join The Apex Community—our exclusive online space for ModernICG alumni.

As an Apexer, you’ll gain free lifetime access to a global network of peers who are just as passionate about major gift fundraising as you are. Inside the community, you can:

    • Stay in touch with fellow alumni

    • Share best practices and lessons learned

    • Get fresh ideas and advice

    • Keep growing—together

Everyone in the Apex Community has completed the same CFRE-certified seminar, so you’re joining a group with shared values, experience, and drive.

Bottom line: this is more than a seminar—it’s your gateway to a strong, supportive network of fundraising professionals who are in it for the long haul.

  • We know you’re investing time, energy, and resources into this seminar—and we want to make sure you get the most out of it.

Each session of the ModernICG Major Gifts Seminar is thoughtfully designed to build on the one before, creating a rich, connected learning experience. That’s why full participation really matters.

To receive your certificate of completion (and earn those valuable CFRE education points), here’s what you need to know:

    • Plan to attend all sessions in full. That means blocking off your calendar, avoiding conflicting meetings, and being present from start to finish each day.

    • Daily attendance is recorded, and staying through the end of each session is required to receive your certificate.

Why so thorough? Because credentials and certificates aren’t just nice to have—they’re a powerful way to show your commitment to professional growth. Employers notice. Whether you’re aiming for a promotion, exploring a new opportunity, or simply leveling up your skills, completing this seminar sends a clear message: you’re serious about your craft.

So show up fully. Engage deeply. And walk away with not just new strategies, but meaningful recognition of your dedication to the field.

  • We sure do—and we’d love to have your team join us!

If you're registering five or more people, you’ll qualify for our special group rate of $1,695 per person. And if you catch our Early Bird Group Special, you can save even more—bringing the price down to $1,595 per person. That’s $200 off the standard rate!

A quick heads-up: Each person will need to register individually. We know it’s a little extra effort, but it ensures we have accurate info for every participant and allows each team member to personalize their seminar experience.

Here’s how to register your group:

    1. Reach out to us to get your exclusive group discount code

    2. Share the code with your team

    3. Use the code when registering each person individually

    A few important notes:

    • Group discounts can’t be combined with other promo codes

    • The offer is valid until 5 PM ET the day before the seminar starts

Ready to register your crew? Just drop us a line—we’ll get you all set up! It’s a great way to invest in your team’s growth and save while you do it.

  • We completely get it—budgets can be tight, especially in the nonprofit world where every dollar matters. But we truly believe this seminar is more than a cost—it’s an investment in your organization’s long-term fundraising success.

The strategies, tools, and confidence you’ll gain can help you secure larger gifts, deepen donor relationships, and create more sustainable revenue for your mission. It’s the kind of training that pays off well beyond the seminar.

To help make it more accessible, we offer a couple of great ways to save:

    • Register early and you’ll save $100 per person

    • Bring a team of five or more and save an additional $100 per person

Those savings can add up quickly—and the impact? That can last for years.

  • Totally fair concern—Zoom fatigue is real, and we’ve felt it too!

That’s why we’ve intentionally designed this seminar to keep your energy up and your brain engaged, without burning you out. Each day runs from 11 AM to 5 PM ET, so you still have time in the morning and evening to take care of life or work.

We’ve built in structured breaks, interactive sessions, and time for reflection and application, so you’re not just staring at a screen—you’re actively learning, connecting, and thinking. No endless webinars here—just focused, meaningful content that actually helps you grow (and yes, even enjoy the process!).

We’re here to make sure you feel refreshed, not overwhelmed.

  • Yes—and we’ll help you make it fit your world.

Whether you’re part of a small but mighty team or a large, well-established institution… working with brand-new donors or seasoned philanthropists… the strategies you’ll learn are designed to be flexible and adaptable.

Throughout the seminar, you’ll have the chance to apply what you’re learning to your unique goals—and get real-time feedback to help shape those ideas for your specific context. It’s not one-size-fits-all; it’s practical, personalized, and built to work where you are, with the donors you’re engaging right now.

  • The Apex Community is a special space we’ve created just for graduates of the ModernICG Major Gifts Seminar—a global network of major gift fundraisers and nonprofit leaders who are serious about making a lasting impact.

Once you complete the seminar, you’ll be invited to join Apex for life, at no extra cost. It’s our way of celebrating your commitment to fundraising excellence and recognizing that you’ve reached what we like to call an “Apex-level” in your professional journey.

Being part of this community is more than just a nice perk—it’s a mark of distinction. You’ll receive a certificate of achievement, and you’ll be connected with a powerful network of like-minded professionals who understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this work.

    • Real-time Q&A and coaching

    • Interactive exercises and small group discussions

    • Dedicated networking time to connect with other fundraisers

To get the most out of it, we recommend:

    • Blocking off your calendar for the full seminar (11 AM–5 PM ET)

    • Minimizing distractions so you can stay fully engaged

    • Taking advantage of the chance to learn, ask, and connect in real time

And don’t worry—we’ve got you covered with helpful follow-up materials after the seminar, including key takeaways and practical tools you’ll access inside the Apex community.

Can’t make this round? No problem—check out our upcoming dates, and consider joining with a teammate to keep the learning going internally.

We're here to make sure you walk away feeling inspired, empowered, and ready to put what you’ve learned into action!

  • Yes—and it’s all about creating a respectful, welcoming, and supportive space for everyone.

When you join a ModernICG seminar, you’re stepping into a community of professionals who are here to learn, grow, and support one another. To make sure everyone has the best experience possible, we ask all participants to follow a few simple, important guidelines:

    Our Community Values

    Respect & Inclusion
We embrace diversity in every form and have zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or disrespect of any kind. Everyone deserves to feel safe and valued.

    Professionalism
Kindness goes a long way. Please be thoughtful and respectful in your interactions—even when perspectives differ.

    Stay Focused
Let’s keep conversations centered on fundraising, leadership, and professional growth. No promotional content or off-topic distractions, please.

    Privacy Matters
What’s shared in the seminar stays in the seminar. Please don’t share anyone’s personal info or stories without their permission.

What happens if someone breaks the rules?

We take this seriously. If someone violates the code of conduct, we may take action, which could include:

    • A warning

    • Removal of inappropriate content

    • Dismissal from the seminar (without a refund, if necessary)

If you see or experience something that doesn’t feel right, please let us know at questions@modernicg.com. We’re here to help.

By participating in our seminars, you’re agreeing to uphold these values. Together, we can create a positive, enriching experience for everyone involved.

For more details, feel free to review our full Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

  • We’re so glad you asked! At ModernICG, we’re committed to making sure everyone feels welcome and fully supported—no matter where you’re tuning in from or what your accessibility needs may be.
