Douglas Dillon is a dedicated leader and seasoned expert in fundraising and campaign strategy, known for his warmth, enthusiasm, and impressive track record of success. As Chief Executive Officer of Jerold Panas, Linzy & Partners—one of the most esteemed firms in campaign services and financial resource development—Doug guides an experienced team serving a diverse range of nonprofit organizations across North America. Since its founding in 1968, the firm has proudly assisted over 4,100 client institutions from its offices in Chicago and Boston.

Doug brings over 25 years of hands-on experience managing nonprofit institutions. Before returning to Jerold Panas, Linzy & Partners, he served as President of the Catholic Health Initiatives Colorado Foundation, where he skillfully led fundraising efforts for eight hospitals.

Throughout his career, Doug has offered insightful consultation to organizations across the United States, Canada, and Australia. His expertise spans institutions of all sizes, including medical centers, hospitals, universities, colleges, YMCAs, and various social service agencies. Known for his ability to consistently surpass campaign goals, Doug excels in campaign design, strategic planning, campaign management, development audits, feasibility studies, and board retreats.

Beyond his role at the firm, Doug is deeply committed to education and mentorship in philanthropy. He serves as Dean at the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy’s Madison Institute, teaching Capital Campaign and Major Gift Tracks. Partnered with the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Business, the Institute is recognized as a premier educational resource in fundraising. He also previously served as Dean for Madison Down Under in partnership with the Fundraising Institute of Australia.

Doug frequently presents at district and international conferences for the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), consistently earning outstanding ratings. Additionally, he holds the role of Dean of the Modern Institute for Charitable Giving.
